The 25-feet tall Leland Cyprus is adorned with individual lights signifying a $5 donation to honor or in memory of family members of friends during the Christmas season. Proceeds go toward valet parking services at Sparks Regional Medical Center, which is provided to patients and family members free of charge through the fundraising efforst of the Sparks Auxiliary.

The Slavens, of Bonanza, said they have purchased their trees from the Optimist Club lot for over a decade. The lot will be open selling trees of all sorts, both standard and flocked, as well as fresh wreathes from 2-6 p.m. Sunday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays until Christmas.
